Sarah graduated from the BA(hons) Integrated Working with Children and Families, studying on the Flexible and Distributed Learning route. Here, she shares her experiences…
“I previously studied for the Foundation Degree in Early Years in 2013 and graduated in 2016. I took a break from studying and in September 2020 I returned to study BA (Hons) Integrated Working with Children and Families.
The course was incredible and it felt like I had never been away from the University. The lecturers were supportive and always pushed me to achieve as they saw potential in my work. The course helped me to build my confidence and develop knowledge which I then applied to my own practice.
At times it was difficult, but I knew that the lecturers were always at the end of an email to answer any queries I had, especially when writing my Dissertation.
I am now studying for a Masters in Special and Inclusive Education at the University, with the main aim to work as a Teacher in a Special Needs School after I finish all my future studies.”
