Patrick Mayoyo Bitumba Fioti<\/strong> graduated from the BA (Hons) Integrated Working with Children and Families<\/a>, Flexible and Distributed Learning, a course that combines online learning with attendance at the University on one Saturday per month.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n

My name is Patrick, and I live in Manchester; I travel to Worcester once a month to attend classes. I have chosen the University of Worcester because I was looking for a Top up course that I could do after my Foundation Degree in Early Childhood Studies and the only top up around here was in Early Years teaching. I did not want to go down that road, that’s why I started searching online until I found this BA course in Integrated Working with Children and Families<\/a> at the University of Worcester. I then started digging deep into the course and the University and I fell in love with it.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even though it was far, that did not stop me from applying and when I was accepted, I was over the moon, despite knowing I had to drive almost 4 and a half hours for the Face to Face sessions. I chose this kind of method of learning because it works around my schedule as a husband, a father of four children plus a full time job. It was a great option for me to do the top up degree. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I will say that if I was to start again, I would still choose the University of Worcester. The modules are well structured, and the teachers are very supportive. I wanted to change my career so I could work in family support; that’s why I chose this course and for some reason Worcester was the only one of the kind.\u202fI am committed to learning and enjoyed going to University on the Saturdays.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
