{"id":279,"date":"2023-03-08T12:57:39","date_gmt":"2023-03-08T12:57:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/childrenandfamilies.on.worc.ac.uk\/?p=279"},"modified":"2023-03-08T12:57:39","modified_gmt":"2023-03-08T12:57:39","slug":"graduate-stories-becky-and-chloe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/childrenandfamilies.on.worc.ac.uk\/index.php\/2023\/03\/08\/graduate-stories-becky-and-chloe\/","title":{"rendered":"Graduate Stories &#8211; Becky and Chloe"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Becky Barnett and her daughter\u2019s partner Chloe Newman progressed from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worcester.ac.uk\/courses\/early-years-0-8-foundation-degree\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.worcester.ac.uk\/courses\/early-years-0-8-foundation-degree\">FD Early Years <\/a>to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worcester.ac.uk\/courses\/integrated-working-with-children-families-ba-hons-top-up-degree\">BA (Hons) Integrated Working with Children and Families<\/a> in 2020-2021. They have had a tough year, with several people in their household contracting Covid-19 at different times, causing them to have to isolate for many weeks. They both suffered with Covid themselves, but they were always committed to their course, and they never missed a virtual session, even when they had to isolate and care for others within the family. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Becky and Chloe supported each other through this difficult year, and both achieved 1<sup>st<\/sup> class honours degrees, a testament to their perseverance and motivation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both Becky and Chloe are now training to be primary school teachers and although they are very busy, they are supporting each other through this too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"178\" height=\"237\" data-id=\"280\" src=\"https:\/\/childrenandfamilies.on.worc.ac.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Picture10.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-280\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"180\" height=\"240\" data-id=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/childrenandfamilies.on.worc.ac.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Picture9.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-281\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Becky Barnett and her daughter\u2019s partner Chloe Newman progressed from the FD Early Years to the BA (Hons) Integrated Working with Children and Families in 2020-2021.
